Tourists are targets especially those who are in a solo holiday.  Some scammers will try to approach you and offer tour guide services at a very cheap price. Be wary of this kind of people. Some tourist who became victims of these scammers complains that they have been drugged and robbed while they have been in the company of these scammers.

Beware of dodgy taxi cab drivers.

Some cab drivers take advantage of tourists. The scheme is that, the cab driver will offer a pre-determined price for the trip which is usually higher in amount compared to the amount shown in the cab meter.

Pickpockets and thieves.

Pickpockets and thieves often frequent places where it is too crowded. Thus, travelers or those who are on solo holiday must always be alert when mixing with local crowd. Always keep the valuables, travelling documents in safe places.

Be wary of people in customs.

When visiting a popular a tourist spot a person in custom might approach you and would seemingly want to take a picture. Be careful of those people because even if posing with them sounds fun, they might actually charge you for it.

Every traveler would want to economize on his travel expenditures.  One of the most enticing offers a group travel tour on a budget. Be careful of these tactics because this might be schemes for kidnapping, robbery or extortion.
