Monthly Budget Update – July

Well it’s pretty much downhill all the way now. Spend, spend, spend. We had some heavy costs this month (car gave out on me, IRS wanted some money back). We also had some travel related expenses such as buying our laptop. Oh well, I knew it wasn’t going to last forever.

I recently read a post about it costing 60k to travel around the world for 2 years. I feel like this is ball park for what Vicky and I are estimating and what I’ve read elsewhere, maybe a bit more, or a bit less, depending on how you swing it. I am happy to announce that we monetized Vicky’s food blog last month and made a whopping $44, but hey, it’s only the beginning right? More opportunities to come!
