Sure, there is bad influences on the internet. However, when an individual shifts their focus from the negative to the positive their perspective changes.
Since younger people are the majority of internet users, let’s shift our perspective from any negative assumptions and focus on the positive.
All one has to do is survey the online landscape with an open mind and they will find that young people everywhere are utilizing the web to better themselves and the world at large.
Scan through YouTube and find the various young talents on display; be it musical, athletic, educational. Many of the artists who have earned success in their respective fields got noticed through a platform such as YouTube or social media.
Not only is the internet a way for young talents to gain attention, it is also a way for those whom may be going through some difficult time to reach out for help.
Many times, fear keeps people from asking for help, and by having access to the internet and a simple search engine search a teen or young adult can find the help they are looking for to guide them through a difficult time.
For all generations, no matter your age or economic background, with access to the internet you have tapped a resource that can be used to help you and your loved ones through the toughest of times.
