Fishing rod travel tricks
Some types of poles have to be a bit more protected than others, either because of what they are crafted from or because some of their components can be more or less fragile. If you do not want to spend money on a rod case, which is entirely up to you, you can use several tutorials available online to make your own.
You can use a good old PVC tube to carry your rod, but keep in mind that you need to choose an appropriate size. You can cushion the pole with the help of wading socks located in the top and the bottom of the tubes.
