Amalfi Coast
Amalfi coast is one of the most stunning coasts in Italy and world renowned for its fantastic views and holiday spots. Positano
Positano offers photogenic and breathtaking views from any angle you see it. The town itself is set in step hill and be prepared to find a lot of steps here, instead of roads. However, the great mixture of colours, architecture and tradition makes Positano a gem in this coast, often luxurious and perhaps more expensive than its siblings. The so called Big Beach is one of the largest of Amalfi and is popular with celebrities, but for those that want more privacy then Fornillo beach is just down a path from the main beach.
Sorrento
Is perhaps the most popular resort of all Amalfi coast. Offering a great choice of beaches, things to do and stunning views makes Sorrento rather more popular. Piazza Tasso is the epicentre of the resort and a stroll here is highly recommended. A great choice of restaurants and bars are available here. Perhaps not to miss while you are there is the Tasso Theatre or a visit to the deep Valley of Mills.
Amalfi
The town of Amalfi historically has been an important maritime port. Since it declared independence from the Byzantine Empire it became one of the most powerful ports in Italy on par with Pisa, Venice and Genoa. Nowadays is a popular day trip destination, and Unesco World Heritage site. Main features to look for is the Cathedral of St. Andrew, the Arsenal of the Maritime Republic and the Museum of Handmade Paper.
