Last year, Vicky and I spent 8 days in Greece, relaxing on the islands and driving around the Peloponnese. Definitely one of the best vacations we’ve ever had, and in many ways, the inception of the travel blog/idea. After several weeks in Japan, Korea, and now China, we are definitely missing a bit of R&R time spent on a beach, and what better place than Greece! In honor of that, we will be featuring a Greece specific destination, Corfu, for our holiday highlight. Here’s thinking of you Greece!
Corfu is one of the most charming and best loved holiday islands around Greece, and with so many exquisite beaches and so much else for tourists to enjoy it isn’t difficult to understand its popularity. Visitors to Corfu from the UK can arrive after just a few hours flight time and there are usually plenty of very enticing deals on Corfu holidays available at any given time.
There are all manner of accommodation options to choose from at the top resorts around Corfu regardless of the kind of budget you’re working with. Two, three and four star resorts offer self-catered apartments at very reasonable prices and with Thomas Cook holidays you can really bag yourself a bargain. In fact, you can add to any savings you stand to make with a Thomas Cook trip to Corfu simply by using the internet to place your booking.
And whatever kind of package holiday deal you might be looking for this year, you are sure to find the ideal offer somewhere, however hard to please your fellow travelers might be. In terms of offering value-for-money holidays, there aren’t many islands in Europe better equipped to deliver than Corfu, given the array of natural and purpose-built attractions around the island. And, of course, as with just about every tourist hotspot around southern Europe, you can all-but guarantee that one sun-drenched day of fun and relaxation with follow the next.
Whether or not you have Corfu specifically in mind for your next family holiday but you are certainly keen to find a seriously cut-price package offer then your best bet is to hold on for last minute deals as the become available online. As long as you have some flexibility in terms of destination and flight times then you could stand to grab the best bargain holiday of your life by doing so.
