Funny Spam Friday – A Look At Spam

Before we get into the good stuff I want to provide two plugins for fighting spam:

Askimet – Great plugin for protecting against spam, but sometimes I run into problems where it incorrectly classifies something as spam, so I check my spam folder once a day

GASP – This was my preferred method for protecting against spam, until just this last week one of our articles got literally 30+ spam comments, so I reinstalled Askimet and now I have both of them working.

Now, I figured since it was Friday we could have a light post by taking a look at some of the funny spam we’ve gotten over the last week:

Well isn’t that just the nicest thing anyone’s ever said.

This is the longest spam I’ve ever gotten…guess I need to work on my spam filters.
