Biking Around Sukhothai – Photo Post

After Ayutthaya, Vicky and I made our way to another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sukhothai, an early kingdom in present-day Thailand that existed between 1238 until 1438.

Sukhothai literally means “Dawn of Happiness.” Well, we were pretty happy to be there and rent a bike to explore some ancient ruins. They’re reasonably well preserved and compact, so you can do the whole thing in a few hours. There isn’t too much of a story here, so we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!

  4. Great looking place. While I’m not really religious there is something about Buddha statues that I just love!

Can’t wait to get to Asia. Probably early next year!
